The first paragraph is an introduction.

It is the goal of this General Leveling Guide to teach you the most efficient methods d2r raising the level of your characters as quickly as possible. While manual leveling is the only option available in Solo Play, Multiplayer offers a variety of ways to advance your character's status.

Multiplayer is a term used to describe a group of people who are playing a game together.

In Multiplayer, there are numerous methods for leveling up your character that are not available in Single Player mode. Whether it's the power of your Characters combined in a group or the leeching of Experience, Multiplayer has a lot more to offer than singleplayer.

From 1 to 5 on the difficulty scale

Immediately following the creation of your Character, your first objective should be the Den of Evil (Act 1, Quest 1). This quest can advance you to levels 3-5 if you have an 8-person party. Following the completion buy D2R items this Quest, you will have two options for your next leveling up location.

Level 5 to a range of 13-15

The first option is Tristram-Runs (also known as "common public games").

The idea behind Tristram-Runs is straightforward -Initiate a game, travel to the Stony Fields Waypoint, and search for the red Portal that leads to Tristram's lair. It is always possible to find the Cairn Stones close to the road that runs through the area. To begin, kill Rakanishu at the entrance, and then go into Tristram and kill the Champion Group to the top left D2R Runewords for sale Deckard Cain's cage, as well as the Unique Group, which is directly below the Champion Group. Although not always the case, additional Elite Groups can spawn to the top right of the Red Portal.

(Private Games, which can be combined with Tristram-Runs) Option 2) Countess-Runs (Private Games, which can be combined with Tristram-Runs):

Initiate a game, travel to the Black Marsh Waypoint, and search for the Forgotten Tower there. Every floor D2R items the Tower will usually have at least one Elite Group spawning on it. If the floor generates in a certain way, you could have as many as two Elite Groups at the same time. A fifth floor Elite Group is usually found in the middle room or one of the four side rooms, depending on the time of year. Kill all Elite Groups on all five floors, including The Countess, to complete the mission.

Tomb-Runs from Level 13 to Approximately 20

The goal of Tomb-Runs is to clear out all of Tal Rasha's Tombs with a large group D2R Runewords people. Located in a triangle extending from the west to the north and east of the Waypoint Canyon of Magi, there are a total D2R runesseven Tombs to explore. Usually, you begin at the far right or far left Tomb (with the symbols O or O), depending on where you are starting from. Remove all of the monsters from the tomb and move on to the next. When you have very efficient groups, you want to get to the Chest room as soon as possible because it always has one of your 1-3 Elite Groups in the Tomb, which is where you want to be. According to the Map Reading terminology, you must travel in the left-most direction in order to find the Chest room. When you've finished, you can leave the Tomb unless there are a large number of Death Beetle monsters present, which are worth the most Experience points from an efficiency perspective.

Level 20 to 24/25 on the difficulty scale

The next level to aim for is Level 25, which is the highest possible. There are three possible routes to take in order to get here.

Until you reach Level 23.5, you can continue doing Tomb-Runs, and then progress all the way to the Ancients in Act 5 if you so desire. Until you reach the Ancients, you should have no trouble reaching Level 24, and killing them will grant you Level 25.

Levels 25 to 40 are available.

Baal-Runs (as is) is a normal state.

When you reach Level 25 or higher, you can begin to gain experience from the waves in the Throne of Destruction. Level 40 is the next step, and you can progress all the way up to this point. According to general consensus, at least one Sorceress should be in a Baal-Run to teleport/d2planer-skill to the Throne  Destruction at any given time. After that, the party clears out the room in front of Baal and dispatches the Waves before moving on to the next game.  Despite the fact that Baal provides some experience when you have a full party, the main reason to kill him is for the drops.  After you have reached your target Level, continue to progress through Nightmare until you reach the next Leveling spot.

From level 41 to level 60

Baal-Runs (Nightmare) is a fictional character created by the author Baal.

Rince and repeat Baal-Runs until you reach a level of 60 or higher. One Sorceress should be in a Baal-Run at all times if she wishes to Teleport to the Throne of Destruction. After that, the party clears out the room in front of Baal and dispatches the Waves before moving on to the next game.  Despite the fact that Baal provides some experience when you have a full party, the main reason to kill him is for the drops.  After reaching your desired Level, continue on your journey through Hell until you reach the next Leveling location.

From level 60 to level 97

As you progress through the Hell difficulty, you will gain some Levels in the process. When you get to Act 4/5, the following areas are excellent for leveling up:

Chaos Sanctuary in Hell is a max-level area for Chaos-Runs (also known as Diablo-Runs).

It is recommended that you stay here until you reach Level 75+. This allows you to build up your strength in preparation for Baal-Runs, which is your final opportunity to Level-Up your character.

Baal-Runs is a fictional character created by author Baal-Runs.

You can also begin participating in Baal-Runs in Hell immediately. The Waves in the Throne of Destruction provide decent experience all the way up to Level 97/98, but they are not particularly difficult. At these high levels, there are only three Bosses left who can provide decent Experience.

C-Baal-Runs is an acronym that stands for "C-Baal-Runs."

C-Baal-Runs, as they are known, are frequently used for leveling. These are a cross between a Chaos Sanctuary and a regular Baal-Run in terms of appearance. In Chaos Sanctuary, while one player is teleported to the Throne of Destruction, the remaining players are tasked with eliminating the three Seal-Bosses. This is done in order to compensate for the downtime caused by teleportation.

Boss-Kills (Level 97-99) are a type of boss-killing.

At Level 97 and above, the only significant experience still available comes from the three bosses Diablo, Nihlathak, and Baal. The objective is to use an Experience Shrine to kill all three of them. You can find a detailed explanation of these final two Levels in our META guide.

Increase your Enchantress's level.

Using Enchant is a very popular method of leveling up, and it has a long history. A well-equipped Enchant Sorceress buffs your Character with Enchant, allowing you to literally one-shot anything you come across in the course of your adventures. The availability of a Raven Claw significantly improves the efficiency of this Leveling Strategy.
